I have used super 8 for over 10 years. I demoed the Cobra 2 and loved the power it had over my old super 8. So I bought it and I must say with a $6k price tag, I think some one should be honest here.
so here it is.
First off this machine is what they call a soft start, meaning if its cold out forget tring to sand, the machine will not start. I was told to bring the machine in side over night. What like give it a blanket and tuck it in?
Second by the time you are final sanding the machine is so hot the belt slips and it will not pick up dust.
This thing is a waste. Sure it looks good and sands great, when you can get it started and before it gets hot..
Buy a Hummel or stay with your super 8. My Cobra 2 is 4 months old and for sale.
