The cost to level the floor before installation is much less than the cost to level the floor now. Which amount makes the consumer whole?

I'm not sure why leveling even enters this equation. If his price included leveling, he's refunding you that amount. If his price excluded leveling, you would have had to pay for the leveling. Ultimately, homeowners pay for all the work in their homes. If the floor needed to be leveled, it would have to be paid for by the homeowner. <snip>
