I thought I'd make a post here to highlight how much I personally appreciate Frank and his contribution to the Nwfa schools.
It shouldn't come as any surprise that he is not only a college graduate, former school teacher, veteran, and successful flooring contractor, if you ever experienced just one of his advanced schools. There was never a time on that level when he wasn't willing to challenge his own skills, particularly in the field of geometry and complex symmetry. His use of 5-fold symmetry still blows my mind. And for that, I am thankful because teachers who clearly challenge themselves openly to their students are rare.
Knowing how to do floors, become a master, or teach the trade does not require a college degree, it most certainly doesn't hurt though. He is a genius who I will be forever greatful for to have worked under as he challenged me to think. His approach to the trade is not likely to go unnoticed either, he embraced duraseal wax, universal sealer, UV finishes, the PAM system, MS glue, among many other products which would spark a bit of controversy as those products are not in the mainstream, but as the ol' saying goes, what's great isn't always popular and what's popular isn't always great.
Here's to Frank!!!
